We contacted the orphanage, “Olga Skobeleva” in Plovdiv because we learned that family type protected home will be built as a part of the process for deinstitutionalization of the children without parental care. At this home will live 6 to 12 years old children from “Olga Skobeleva”.
Our skills and voluntary work can help
After we took the decision to be part of the project and our meeting with the coordinator, it became clear that the backyard of the home has to be renovated. We took care by designing and installing pergola and benches from gabions, where the children can rest, read or just talk.
Equipped with the necessary materials, tools and positive feelings, the VJF team entered the backyard in the early morning. Our assistants, the boys from “Olga Skobeleva” were thereto help with whatever they can. We were happy to communicate with them because communication and care is what these children needs at most.
After the long working day, tired, but charged with many positive emotions we left Plovdiv, but we promised will back for the opening.
1st June – the children’s day
